In WITCH’S CAT, a solo journaling RPG, you're more than just a cat. You are the magical companion to a witch. Using tarot cards to generate prompts, you'll help your witch navigate the challenges of a magical world, all while dealing with your own feline foibles like the need to rest in a patch of golden sun or chase a magical feather conjured by your witch's rival. 

Witch's Cat is a design collaboration from Scott Russell Morris of Magpie Zines and Jared Bruhn of Hoo Cares Games with magical illustrations from Christopher Kardambikis.

Find a Witch & Craft a Cat

Before playing, you'll follow a few prompts to find a witch & build the world they live in. The prompts are open-ended and you can craft your world however you want: play in a dark medieval fantasy, a whimsical modern setting, or anything in between. You'll then design your cat & establish your starting relationship with your witch.

The game plays over nine turns. Each turn, draw tarot cards to reveal tasks from your witch and quirky complications from your cat nature. You'll record your adventure in your journal, then progress again.

As the game unfolds, you'll build your relationship with your witch and work towards your private cat goals.
